Hi,
Has anybody been out to the Cathedral Range State Park recently, and in particular to Neds Gully camp site? I'm planning an overnight camping trip for me, a friend and our 4 1/2 year old daughters, and I was wondering whether the area is still badly damaged from the Black Saturday fires (I see on the Parks Victoria website that they reopened some of the trails late last year). I'd be interested in taking the kids on 1 or 2 shorter walks, and was wondering if there are enough walks open to make it worth the trip.
Any info will be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dylan.

Check out the up to date conditions on www.parkweb.vic.gov.au. I was there a couple of days ago and Neds Gully is excellent (so id Cooks Mill site) as the fires didn't reach the campsite. Most of the walks are now open and the place looks amazing. The walk along the river to Cooks Mill is open and would suit younger walkers.

The Nature Trail and the track from Cathedral to Little Catehdral are both still closed. All other tracks and the two camping areas are open. The walk along the river is good for kids.
