not ever having been up to Araps, i'm not sure about the facilities there... but what is so wrong with the mens loos that they have to use the womens?
I personally can't stand unisex toilets, and feel very affronted and threatened if men are in the same toilets as me, its a massive invasion of privacy and a bit of a safety issue.

To answer the question of why? i think that because you are at your most vulnerable with your pants around your ankles (and face it, us chicks cant just unzip and let rip), if you have to put up with a public toilet, at least you want to feel safe doing so.

that being said, i wouldnt think twice about bullying a man out of the womens loos.
