I've recently been struck down with some hideous flu-ish throat-closing Virus, which saps all of my energy away and kills my ability to climb (i tried on Sunday, got up my normal #13 warm up and almost threw up... was dead from there on in). i digress, i went to the doctor today and he said that i have to improve my diet somewhat (as well as reduce my stress levels, but you try working at Myer HO and not be stressed!!) to balance out the excersise that i have been doing on the walls.

now my diet is not too bad, HEAPS of veggies and lean meat etc.... maybe grill'd or mekong once in a while...

I was wondering if anyone here tailors their diet in a specific way to maximise their ability to climb... i've always been of the school of protein = power, and have quite a high protein diet (and now have the problem of being a little too muscular through the legs...) do people find it better to be on a higher carb ratio or a higher protein...

or are the majority of climbers the eat-what-you-can-even-if-it's-maccas-and-not-really-care type?
