Three Kinds of Onsight.

Onsight Trad, Onsight Sport and Onsight Solo

Solo purer than Trad which is purer than Sport.

In all cases the use of a cheater stone OK for the onsight if used by the first assentionist.

In all cases all beta other than a guidebook negates onsight.

For Trad and Sport any preplaced gear changes the onsight to "Onsight with Preplaced Gear" unless in the case of a Trad ascent a piece of fixed gear exists that procludes the placement of pro carried by the leader.

Seiging a route is really redpointing. You get the redpoint when you can climb the route placing all gear (Sport and TRad)

If you seige a route and leave the rope/gear in and you climb the route then you have eeeerrr climbed it with gear/toprope?
