I think this may have been posed before, but the Trad projects thread leads me to think of the following hypothetical scenario:
If someone steals your project (trad or otherwise), kills their belayer, and never tells anyone, did they actually steal it?

No - but then they did not actually really climb it did they . . .
'Show me the body' would be the call if they tried to claim an ascent . . .
