There are many reasons a climber goes to a crag and climbs a route, the quality of the rock, the protection, the line, the rave in the guidebook and in some cases, the name of the route.
What are some of the route names have caught your imagination and why?

Once upon a time there was a climber called Phil and he had a girlfriend called Gill
and they were collectively known as Phil and Gill.
Well, along came Ron and all of a sudden it was Ron and Gill (they later married).
Poor old Phil was not too happy so he pulled on his EB's headed off out to the
Roaches (Staffs Grit) and added 'Gillted' - E4 5c.
Many years later, Steve and Sue were an item until the recently divorced Ron
appeared, and you guessed correct, it became Ron and Sue.
Steve, with a fine eye for history, then headed straight out to Stanage and produced
'Suited' - E4 6a.
And you thought this sort of thing only ever happens in Natimuk!

Funny, I was thinking about starting the same thread.
"Smear Tactics" at Buffalo comes to mind.

Hence the suggested origin of the route name 'One bed to the left'

I think it's up at Mitchells Ridge in the Blueys; I've never been there, but there's 3 climbs next to each other, Sones, jam and cream. They'd be good to do before a delightful Devinshire Tea in Hartley.
I also really like Heisenbergs Uncertainty Principle at Mt York. Mostly because I was studying just that when I read the description

I have always liked the irony style humour in mikls climb name 'Borderline 29' at Frog.
Depending on your mind and how you are climbing on the day it can be very apt!
(... It is a lovely climb by the way, and I highly recommend it, particularly if one stays on the arete to finish the upper section).

Lactictoc (26) Freezer, Blue Mountains.
Great route and perfectly named 26m pumpy as hell if you don't use the rest out to the left or the jam halfway.

Most of the climbs at 'The Pines' at urbenville have a battery theme. The hill that the crag is on is called battery hill thus the theme.
Such as ...
Ohm sweet ohm
Pink bongo bunny
Don't trust the bunny
Loaded on lithium
nice acid, shame about the volts

Dear me another f---in theme crag, and the world is poorer for it
Although I would say a pun is better than a theme, and smut is better than a pun. However, IMHO the
combination of smut, a theme AND a pun would have to get my vote for the most atrocious route
names in the world.
People trying to prove how clever they are by a faux deep and meaningful route name has always
made me want to puke
