i was extremely lucky to see the world premiere of this film on my last night in squamish last weekend.

this film has some of the most amazing footage i've seen in a climbing film. Lowell and Mortimer have created a film that is so visually stunning. the routes and locations visited are like nothing else. the most well known route obviously has the most screen time, and its worth it. Es Pontas, the supposed 9a DWS looks farking awesome. and its the route everyone wants to see.

that said, the main let down i found, and so did some others i saw it with, was the fact that **shock horror** there was too much sharma. his trademark TZAAAA!!'s and BHAAAAA!!'s is used so much it just gets annoying. understood the film is meant to follow the world best climber searching for the worlds best climbs, but it's just too much sharma for one sitting. They should have called the movie "The Sharma Show"
