He grew up in Auckland which isn't really New Zealand.

A classic example of an individual trying to become a brand.

I don't know if you have seen "The corporation" but one of the main points of it is that if an individual
acted in the same way that a corporation did then that person would be locked up for sociopathic
behaviour due to the ethic of the end (profit) justifying the means with no regard for commonly held
values.

Now I see Inglis behaviour as no different as he has exhibited these same traits, the end (Summit,
sponsors promotion, percieved glory etc...) justifying the means (insert dying climber).

It all gets ugly and morals slip big time when people allow themselves to be dehumanised by the
corporate ethic..... rant rant rant.....

You'd certainly want him on your running team tho, cos he's so fast he leaves everyone for dead!! :0)
