the main reason, witch happily slipped my mind was how cumfy the sleep on big grassy is.
would a thermo rest be fine? i heard it was rocky from a chap that had slept on it once, also saying it was
mildly slopey.
any info would relly be great.

I last slept on Big grassy 25 years ago. It probably has changed a little but I would leave the thermarest behind. From memory, my partner was at the base of the corner where he had to curl up a bit. I got the narrow bit out towards Lord Gumtree and I had to adjust myself around a r ock or two. You're going to be padding your bags with closed-cell mats so sleep on them as well - you will be so stuffed you will sleep well and if you take the narrow perch you might be able to dodge cooking duties.

Aloha,
I'll be there, but arriving after a bit of Confest action on the 2nd Jan and staying till the 8th Jan, then off to the Blue Mountains (Wolgan Valley).
Actually - if anyone's interested in joining me for some climbing action at the Wolgan Valley, let me know. I have been there a few times and love it.
Ciao,
Josef
