I real keen to hear from anyone who knows the best way to anchor a virticle hanging rope to a tyrolean, without reducing the rope strength, by avoiding a knott.
I was thinking... A pulley on the tyro and mabey running the virticle rope through a Gri Gri then beiner it on to the pulley..
I' ve heaps of rigging as part of my job but am keen for info on this.
thanks

Why would you want to do that? In terms of rigging, you shouldn't be using a "Tyrolean" traverse, if what you want is access to a point between two points, you should use a controlled diversion, and lower yourself into the position you want. Hard to explain, but you shouldn't be working of the center of a tight rope, and certainly not dynamically loading, in that situation (if rope swinging and "bungy" are on your mind)!!

The way i asked my previous question sucked. I'm just intrested in knowing if anyone knows how Osman
anchored his jump rope to the tyrolean in his leaning tower jump?
And if your going tell me not to do it, don't worry i have no intentions of, just like rigging and I've been
wondering.
