I dont conciously listen to music when im climbing, however, sometimes I get 1 or 2 lines of a song in my head and it just goes over and over and.... It could be anything too, no particular style or song, gives me the shits if I dont lke the song.

Does anyone else find they climb differently to the music they are climbing to (in some small ways) ??
I find when bouldering at home in small cave if I put on a little Jeff Buckly I end up traversing slowerly concentrating on movement and position, then I throw on a little infected mushroom or just something up tempo with a hardish beat, and I'm doing 6' Dyno's, dead points and or just any move that is likely to strain a muscle...... ; )
Outdoors music is a no no..... Indoors i think music is totally fine in the background.....
Cheers.

Poddle Rock aka Hair Metal - Guns N' Roses, Cinderella, Tesla, Poison, Scorpions, Whitesnake, Motley Crue, and more! They had huge teased bleached hair held up by copouis amounts of hairspray. Mid 1980s (before my time - honestly!)
p.s. I'll let Hexy dredge up the required poodle rock pics.

How does one go past the likes of
Gene Pitney, Burt bacaract, Kahmal and Rolf Harris.
if I'm feeling radical a good burst of Suzie Quattro or Pat benetar really does the job
but when Im climbing the ice
how does one surpass the immortal
