14yo boy to climb Everest 13-Dec-2004 At 4:13:32 PM bapak
Took 4 yr 3month old Grandson to the Nunawading Hardrock Gym the other day (for his first time apart from some "dry runs" from a 3 metre garage girder) & he took off like a rocket on a random mixture of a 7/23/12 holds until he was runout @ the first layover = 6 metres up !

He has his own Petzyl harness complete with rat/cheese emblems, knows how to thread a Gri Gri/Fig 8 & clip in (ahead of being double checked of course) & steal chalk from his uncle's bag ! (A great time to learn eh ? :-)
