Hi, hows it going ?
I'm visiting Victoria for the first time in a few weeks and was
wondering if
there are any other areas for bouldering apart from the Grampians nearer
to
Melbourne as I will be coming down through Kosciuszko National Park. I'm
a
bit limited for time so won't beable to get to the Grampians this time,
could you help ?
Cheers.

Hi Stuart,
I have a couple of questions to help filter the search for possible bouldering locations.
- Will you have your own transport?
- How much time will you have for bouldering sessions - day, half day or just a couple of hours?
- What grades are you looking for?
- What preference do you have for the style of problems - steeper or technical?
Bouldering around Melbourne is limited compared to Sydney, but good areas do exist.

Hi Martin.
Answers to your questions,I have my own transport, and I'm looking for half to a whole days climbing. I think my grade is about V5 and up depending on what the route is,I tend to be slightly better at technical routes than overhanging.
I'm on a training curve at the moment so I'm doing overhanging routes one day then fingery and technical routes on another day then one more day of just mixed, what ever I feel like doing.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.
