Hey PDRM, I was thinking / am thinking doing the same, only just moved to Australia so might take a while to get the finds together but in the UK I had a mini quad copter to fly around the house and while it takes a while to get used to after a few weeks of practice I was getting really good at flying into different rooms of the house, under and over the kitchen table etc. For $61 and a bit more for spare rotors and bit and bobs it would be worth getting one to learn, as I crashed and re built this thing loads and loads at first.
