Shout a Message from the Mountaintop!

If you have something to shout about or want to dedicate a message to someone, you can go to http://www.twotalesshoutout.cz and record it.

In less than a week, a team of 5 climbers will broadcast your messages from the top of the Ulamertorsuaq peak in Greenland!

More info about the expedition can also be found on the Two Tales Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/twotalesbeer

If a team of 5 climbers boadcast a message from the top of Ulamertorsuaq peak and nobody hears it, do they get paid?

There's no mention of them shouting anything. Instead, it seems that you record your own message... so presumably they've got a little ipod with speakers (and internet connection!) that they will play turned up to 11 to combat the polar winds at 2000m.

Looks like an amazing wall though - I wish them the best of luck. Looks similar to the Asgard Project - I wonder if they'll release a video, though instead of wingsuiting off the top - they just hurl abuse and stupid comments from facebook users at nobody.... Hmm...

If they had any balls they would shout the messages from half way up, on the leeward side, in winter, after a heavy snow storm, under a pecipise, in mid-day sun, with the iPod on 1011.

Actually, I love the potential this particular form of communication has and look forward to incorporating it into my day-to-day life:

"Say, you remember I'm going to Araps this weekend - you're OK to look after the kids, right?"
"WHAT?!? You never told me that!"
"Uh, sure I did, I even paid some guys to broadcast it from a mountaintop..."

Well, OK, maybe it's not ideal for day to day use, but surely we can think of some scenarios where it comes into its own. Marriage proposals for really, really shy folk? Criticism of your boss when you have to get it off your chest but don't want to deal with the fallout? Denial of the existence of God but wanting to be a long way away when the thunderbolt hits?

Now that's just cruel!
You can imagine the guy reading it out, laughing with his co-climbers, then his face turns pale as he reads the last syllable and looks up as Thor sends down his hammer (they are in Greenland after all!)
