Interested in taking some newbie friends out for a climb, but haven't got around to it? This day is for you!

The Climbing Club of South Australia is happy to announce 'Come out and try day' for new people to do some toproping at Morialta. This is a great opportunity for when family, friends or colleagues say they would like to try climbing but never get around to making it happen:

When: Sunday 4 November
What time: 1.00-5.00pm, with a few club members to arrive at 12.00pm for set-up
Which crag: Far Crag or Boulder Bridge, depending on conditions on the day
Meeting place: the main rockclimbing/top car park, being gate #17 on Norton Summit Road: http://goo.gl/maps/Wk2sO Rotate the Google street view dial to see the gate on the downhill slope. Parking spaces available on the roadside.

Experienced members can set up topropes, lending a spare harness if possible, and showing our attendees how to belay and climb.

Please RSVP to events@climbingclubsouthaustralia.asn.au by Thursday 1 November. Be sure to register your intention to come along, as numbers will be limited. Club members please indicate whether you can arrive at 12.00pm or 1.00pm.

Bring your sunhat, outdoorsy wear, snacks and plenty of water.
