Just thought I would note the passing of the traverse on the outside wall of the H K Ward gym at Sydney Uni.

The gym has been knocked down to make way for a new obesity clinic at the hospital!

Hughie Ward wouldn't have cared much as he lit up another fag and sculled another beer.

There are still some great lines around the Uni though. The main quad, the crack climbs up the city road footbridge, and the ledge of course...

I tried to rescue some bricks and holds from the site but was not allowed onto the site as it was undergoing demolition.

About 4 years ago I dislocated my shoulder training there and walked to the hospital to get it fixed.

I will not mourn its passing.

Fair enough, but from what I remember of your posts on this site over a fair timeframe, you didn't need to train to have that happen to you!
