should be fine. might get some damage in the sun but as long as its set right and not rubbing on anything I doubt it'll break on you.
have you considered getting some slack-lining shoes?

YEAH i think slack liners are hard core!!!

i think that rock climbers are soft like what is the point of going vertically when you can travel horizontal
